Step 1 of 3

choose licensing

Licensing Explained

If you’re using music in your business — like in a yoga class, a guided meditation, a course, or a social media post — and that music isn’t something you made yourself, you usually need permission to use it. That permission is called a commercial license.

“Commercial” means it’s connected to your business or brand.

“License” is official permission from the person who created the music.

Without a license, using music in a business setting can be considered copyright infringement, even if you’re not charging for that particular video or class.

Licensing is how you stay in the clear — and make sure you’re using music legally and respectfully.

A commercial wellness license keeps you:

Safe — no copyright issues.

Professional — you’re using music the right way.

Ethical — you’re supporting the artist who created the music, just like you’d want people to support your work.
